Mr. Mohamed Daaboul, Chairman of the Board, briefed His Excellency Ambassador Mohammedi Ahmed El-Nay about the latest initiatives and activities and touched on planned improvements in the work of the Federation’s bodies and regional offices towards regaining the position among the Arab Federations that work under the umbrella of the Council of Arab Economic Unity. His Excellency talked about the idea of establishing an aluminum factory in the Republic of Mauritania and provided a full overview of the resources and investment opportunities in the country. It was agreed to publish the information about investment opportunities in Mauritania in the next issue of the semi-annual electronic newsletter of the Federation. The Chairman of the Board of Directors accompanied His Excellency Ambassador Al-Nay on a field visit to “Canex Aluminum” member company, where they were received by Eng. Mohamed Al-Sawaf, Production and Maintenance Manager, and Eng. Rasha Othman, the Quality Manager. Eng. Muhammad Al-Sawaf provided a comprehensive explanation of the entire steps of the production process in the factory then Eng. Rasha Othman described the specifications and standards that are followed and the international quality certificates that the company obtained. The tour concluded with an account of the company’s sales and its Arab and international export markets. |
