About us

The union is an association of employers from Arab countries working in the engineering industries sector. Its aim is to contribute to defending the interests of member companies within the framework of the public interest of society in all forums, through coordination and active participation in issues related to economic and professional developmental plans and programs in Arab countries, building capacities to achieve impact and effectiveness in these areas, raising the level of industries to a globally competitive level, and enhancing the capabilities of young industrialists.

The Arab Union of Engineering Industries was established on June 24, 1975.

The Arab countries currently participating in the union are: United Arab Emirates, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Kingdom of Bahrain, People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Syrian Arab Republic, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Republic of Iraq, State of Qatar, Lebanese Republic, Arab Republic of Egypt.

Our goal is to contribute to safeguarding the interests of current and future companies within the public interest of society in all forums. Therefore, we use the union as a platform that allows us to actively participate in matters related to economic, social, and ethical development in each of our Arab countries.
